Trio: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19 with MID. 707 Pte J.J.Blumer. 19/Bn. A.I.F. on first medal, Lieut J.J.Blumer. A.I.F. on last two medals. All medals impressed. Swing mounted, last medal loose, all ribbons worn out, medals very fine - good very fine.

Together with matching set of contemporary swing mounted miniatures.

Recommendation (18Sep1916): 'He has invariably carried out his duties in an excellent manner. As Bn. Intelligence Officer at Bois Grenier he showed great zeal and marked ability. Owing to his energy and attention to duty the information he furnished proved, accurate, timely and valuable. As a Company Officer during the operations at Pozieres from 25th July to 5th August, and from 21st to 27th August, 1916, his bearing was cool and cheerful under fire, and during the last period his Company was in the front line he worked ceaselessly in repairing his trenches which were badly damaged by severe shell fire; and in connection with sapping for a new line.'
