P M TR P XIII COS III P P, Jupiter standing left, holding thunderbolt and sceptre, eagle at feet, (S.6336, RIC 196, RSC 469); Severus Alexander, (A.D.222-235), silver denarius, issued 223, Rome mint, (3.08 g), obv. laureate bust to right, draped and cuirassed around IMP C MAVR SEV ALEXAND AVG, rev. LIBERALITAS AVG, Libertas standing to left, holding abacus and cornucopiae, (cf.S.7875, RIC 148, RSC 108a). First coin with off centred reverse, good very fine; very fine. (2)
