Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.07 g), Lysimacheia mint, issued 297/6-282/1 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted border, rev. Athena Nikephoros enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, resting arm on shield, lion head to left, monogram **DO* in exergue, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **LUSIMAXOU*, (cf.S.6814, Thompson 16, M.51, Armenak 649-650, Meydancikkale -), Bright, with full flan but slightly double struck on the reverse, extremely fine or better and rare.
