Description
China, a large collection of cash with much duplication mostly from the Q'ing (Ch'ing) Dynasty, includes a few round copper machine made cash or cents from the late Empire and early Republic, including a 100 cash of Honan Province (KM.Y.395), many identified in packets, noted a silver dollar of Yuan Shih Kai year 3 (1914); a few of Korea and some 5 and 10 cash pieces of Wen Zong (1851-1861), also noted a very few issues of the Northern Sung Dynasty. The collection is strong on issues of Sheng Zu (Kang Xi) (1662-1722) and Gao Zong (Chien Lung) (1736-1795), but has good representation of issues from Xhi Zu (1644-1661) to Mu Zong (1862-1874). The collection concludes with a group (approx 20) of Taiwan (Formosa), North China and modern China. Mostly fine - very fine some better. (approx 600)
