George I, copper farthing, first or 'Dump' issue, 1717, date in exergue, (S.3661, Peck 783). Prooflike, about extremely fine and very rare.
Ex Baldwin's Auctions No.42, The William C. Boyd Collection, 28th September 2005 (lot 1112) and previously from the George Henry Gaviller (1807-1879), (Boyd's uncle) and acquired c.1880 from his estate (ticket stamped GHG).
