New Zealand, Queen Victoria, Proof Pattern Crown. milled edge, obverse, young portrait of Queen, after W.Wyon, dated 1840, VICTORIA D:G: BRITANNIARUM REG; F:D: 1840, around, reverse, an adaptation of the reverse design from the 1935 Waitangi Crown; struck in seven different metals; Proof sterling silver, gold-coated piedfort, golden alloy, aluminium, piedfort copper, nickel silver and platinum coloured alloy.
