TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP around, S C in exergue, [Claudius seated left on curule chair with arms around, holding a branch], (S.1896, RIC 93 (Claudius), BMC 157, C.8); Germanicus, son of Nero Claudius Drusus, (born 15 B.C., died A.D. 19), AE dupondius, Rome mint, issued under Caligula, A.D. 37-41., (14.96 grams), obv. GERMANICVS CAESAR, Germanicus in triumphal quadriga, with sceptre, rev. SIGNIS RECEPT [D]EVICTIS GERM, large SC below, Germanicus standing left, right hand raised, holding legionary eagle in left hand, (S.1820, RIC 57, C.7, CBN 140, BMC 93), AE asses of Germanicus (S.1821); Claudius (S.1859) and a British imitation of Divvus Augustus (S.1788). Almost all with faults in collector's packets, poor - fine, several scarce. (5)
