Cilicia, Anazarbus, Julia Mamaea mother of Severus Alexander, (died A.D. 235), dated year 248 = A.D. 229-230, AE 25, (11.99 grams), obv. draped bust of Julia Mamaea to right, around **IOVL*IA MAMAIA CEB, rev. nine column temple, around traces of ANA ZAPB OV MHTPO **G*B, in exergue ET **Q*MC, (S.3474, SNG Levante 1477, Ziegler 564); Julia Mamaea, mother of Severus Alexander, (d.A.D.235), issue struck at Rome 218-222, AE sestertius (21.10 grams), obv. IVLIA MAMAEA AVG[VSTA], diademed bust draped to right, rev. around VESTA, S C across field, Vesta standing left, holding palladium and sceptre, (S.8236, RIC 708, C.83). First coin has been cleaned, fine - very fine, rare, second coin with porous surface, otherwise fine, both come with collector's card descriptions. (2)
