Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.17 grams), Pella mint, issued 286/5-282/1 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena Nikephoros enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, resting arm on shield, monogram in wreath to left, AP monogram in exergue, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **LUSIMAXOU*, (cf.S.6814, Thompson 250, M.304, Armenak 921). Bright, with nearly full flan but slightly off centred, nearly extremely fine and rare.
