Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.94 grams), Lampsakos mint, issued 297/6-282/1 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, HP monogram to left, crescent to left in exergue, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **LUSIMAXOU*, (cf.S.6814, Thompson 47, M.401, SNG Hart 349, SNG Ash. 3724, McClean 4492). Well centred reverse, very high obverse relief, good very fine.
