Athena Alkidemos advancing left, brandishing a thunderbolt and holding a shield, ME**SAM BRIANWN* either side, (S.1677, SNG BMC 285-286, BMC 12) (illustrated); Thrace, Tauric Cherronesos, Panticapaeum, 4th century B.C., AE 25, (11.39 grams), obv. bearded Pan head to left, wearing ivy wreath, rev. bow and arrow, below **PANTI*, (S.-, SNG Stancomb 539-540, SNG BM 868, Shelov 54); another AE 24, first half 1st century B.C., (16.89 grams), obv. Dionysos wearing ivy wreath to right, rev. bow case and quiver to left monogram, (S.S.-, SNG Stancomb 597, BMC 1-4, SNG BMC 946-9). Last two fine and porous, first very fine. (3)
