Macedon, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.062 grams), Babylon mint, issued 311-305 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with dotted border, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, to left MI, **MTR* monogram in wreath below throne, **ALEXANDRO[U]* to right, (cf.S.6713, Price 3751, BMC 3751a-b, M.735). Very fine or better, comes with collector's card description.
