Third issue, proof five pounds, uniface, Napier, 1st Feby. 1878, imprint of Perkins Bacon & Co London Patent Hardened Steel Plate, three punch hole cancellation in Manager area 'Decr 1877' added in pencil in bottom margin (Robb.M.346a; L.525; P.S357). Nick out of bottom margin, otherwise good very fine.
