Second issue, proof twenty pounds, uniface, Christchurch, 1st April 186-, imprint of Perkins Bacon & Co London Patent Hardened Steel Plate, 'from this' added in pencil in Manager area (Robb.M.264b; L.526; P.S353). Remnants of glue stains on back in corners, otherwise extremely fine.
