Second issue, proof ten pounds, uniface, Wellington, 1st Mar. 187-, imprint of Perkins Bacon & Co London Patent Hardened Steel Plate, 'to this - Decr. 1871' added in pencil in Manager/Accountant area (Robb.M.251c; L.526; P.S353). Remnants of glue stains on back in corners, otherwise extremely fine.
