Second issue, proof ten pounds, uniface, Otago, 18-, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, horizontal SPECIMEN stamp below in 'Accountant' area '17th January 1862' added in pencil in bottom margin (Robb.D52; L.443; P.S183). Light stains, good very fine.
