Second issue, proof pound, uniface, Wellington, 18-, imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, SPECIMEN stamped in Manager area, '5th March 1862' added in pencil in bottom margin (Robb.C.221a; L.420; P.S146m). A little dirty, otherwise very fine.
