Second issue, proof one pound, uniface, Wellington, 12th Septr 1865 imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, 'from this' added in pencil in Manager area (Robb.B.221b; L.401; P.S111m). Tears at right and thinning, otherwise very fine with remnants of glue marks on back.
