Maximianus, (A.D. 286-305 first reign), AE follis, Antioch mint, issued A.D. 302-3, (8.778 grams), obv. laureate head of Maximianus to right, around IMP C M A MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO POPV LI ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, ANT* in exergue, E in right field, (cf.S.3633, RIC 56a). Attractive large full flan, brown tone, nearly extremely fine.
