CHINA, Hsin Dynasty, Wang Mang rebel, (A.D. 7-22), gold inlayed key money of value 5000, obv. Yi Dao (in gold) Ping Wu Qian, "one knife, value five thousand", 74mm, (Sch.119, cf.TFP 456 & 458, Hartill 9.12). Heavily encrusted, otherwise very fine and rare.
