China, Western Zhou (Chou) Dynasty, State of Qi, round cash with square hole (350 - 300 B.C.), Pre-Qin type (Qi united China in 221 B.C.) "Ban Liang" (half ounce), two long characters either side, diameter 26 and 31 mm, (5.1, 7.6 grams), (cf.Hartill 7.8, 7.17, cf.Sch. 88-91, 92-95, TFP 415, 425]. Fine - very fine. (2)
