China, Zhou (Chou) Dynasty (1122-255 B.C.), Ming knife money with straight tip, issued 400-220 B.C. obv. type Ming, uncertain characters, length 140mm, (cf.Hartill 4.40-3, cf.DCD 545, cf.Coole Vol.6, cf.TFP 340-344, cf.Schjoth 52-61); together with Hsin Dynasty, Wang Mang Interregnum, (c.A.D.9-22), copper spade money, with flat shoulder and foot, with legend "The Pu Currency", (Sch. 148, TFP 486 [p.44]). Both with dark green patina, oxidation with dirt attached, fine. (2)
