BAUDIN'S EXPLORING EXPEDITION, 1801, struck on a gilt flan (30mm), for the Corvettes Geography and Naturalist voyage to New Holland (Australia) by Montagney, obverse the Consul Bonaparte's bust left (MH 174, Bransen I,72). Reverse (die 2 'C' over 'B'). Peripheral die break on obverse, good extremely fine and rare.
