Macedon, Kingdom of, Philip III, (323-316 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.108 grams), Babylon mint, issued c.323-317 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, M to left, **LU* below throne, to right **[F]ILIPPO[U]*, below **BASILE[ES]*, (cf.S.6749, Price P181, BMC P181a-f, M.P99). Very fine.
