Ummayyad Caliphate, Ibrahim, (A.H. 126-127) (A.D. 744), silver anonymous dirham, Wasit mint (on Euphrates river), A.H. 127 = A.D. 744-5, (A.140, M.61, BMC 582). Good very fine and rare.
Ex John Baker Collection, Noble Numismatics Sale 83 (lot 3592 part). The issue for this ruler with seven obverse annulets for this year 127, has been traditionally attributed to this caliph. Issues from 128-132 are conventionally assigned to the caliph Marwan II.
