Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.71 grams), Magnesia mint, issued 297-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, to far left a monogram in a wreath, **S* in inner left field, **BASILEWS* to right **LUSIMACOU* to left, (cf.S.6814, Thompson 102, M.302). Good very fine and rare.
