Gaul, Massalia, imitations of the 4th century B.C., made in 3rd - 2nd B.C., silver obols (0.49, 0.51 grams), obv. crude head of Apollo left, rev. four-spoked wheel, traces M A in angles, (CCCBM 37-40); Macedon, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver obol, (0.67 grams), obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, dotted border, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, A? to left, trace of **ALEXANDROU* to right, dotted border, (cf.S.6736); Euboia, Histaia, (3rd century B.C.), silver tetrobol, (1.54 grams), obv. head of nymph Histaia to right, wreathed with vine, hair rolled, rev. nymph Histaia seated to right on galley, wing on galley, around **[ISTI] AIEWN*, (cf.S.2496).
