Promissory note, ú17.10.0, Hobart Town Van Diemens Land, 29th September 1830, At ten days sight pay to my own Order Seventeen Pounds ten shillings being the Amount of my Pension for loss of sight of the left eye as a Deputy Assistant Commissary General from 25 June 1830 to 24 September 1830 as per Treasury Letter bearing date 2nd August 1828 No.13084 25/7 and my affidavit for Half pay this day transmitted To William Sargent Esqr (copy), Agent for Commissariat Supplies, London, signed, P Roberts, DACG, endorsed on back with instructions, marked on front in red ink, (A.B.2). Good very fine.
