Netherlands, Utrecht, silver ducat or rider, 1711, obv. rider on horse to right, rev. arms, date below, (D.1832); Spanish Netherlands, Low Countries, Philip IV (1621-1665), Brabant, Brussels, silver ducaton, 16XX, obv. bust right, rev. arms, (van Gelder & Hoc 327.3b, D.4454); Shipwreck coins, a set of two, ten and twenty cash, East India Company copper coins recovered from the wreck of the Admiral Gardner that sank on Goodwin Sands 25 January 1809, housed in a sealed presentation card; England, Elizabeth I, (1558-1603), fifth issue, halfgroat, mm. crescent (1587-9) (S.2579). First two coins are very waterworn, second severely bent, some surface porosity, otherwise very good - very fine. (5)
Ex Currency and Banking Museum. Ex Wreck of the `De Liefde' (The Love), the Dutch East Indiaman wrecked late October 1711 off the Shetland Islands for the first two coins.
