China, Five Dynasties, Northern Zhou, (A.D.557-581), issue of Emperor Wu in 574, issue ceased in 576, "Wu Xing Da Bu" (The large coin of the five elements, [metal, wood, water, fire and earth), four characters around, diameter 27 mm., (Hartill 13.30 [R11], Sch. 246, TFP 640]). Both with hoard patination, fine and scarce. (2)
