Group of Six: The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) (Second type) (Military); British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19; Defence Medal 1939-45; Cadet Forces Medal (GVIR) with clasp for additional service (KC); Special Constabulary Long Service Medal (GVIR 1937-48). First and fourth medals unnamed, 16175 Gnr. E.Snowball. R.A. on second and third medals, Act. Sqn. Ldr. A.S.Dodd. R.A.F.V.R. (T) on fifth medal, Arnison S.Dodd on last medal. Swing mounted. Very fine - extremely fine.

Together with M.B.E. (Mily) official case; M.B.E. bestowal scroll from King George VI (signed George R) dated 7th June 1951 named to Arnison Stanley Dodd Esquire, Acting Wing Commander in our Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve; Letter from Central Chancery advising of MBE award together with official booklet, 'Statutes of the Order of the British Empire 1948', includes black and white photos of insignia; A.R.P. / VA silver pin-backed lapel badge, hallmarked; silver and gold fob, cross on shield with initials, UHSP, reverse inscribed, 'A.S.Dodd'; set of matching miniature medals but the Special Constabulary Long Service Medal is an Elizabeth II type and the order of the last two medals is reversed.
