T Rex, dinosaur medal, undated, in pure silver (38mm), obverse, T Rex half figure half facing, reverse, 'Jurassic / Period / Dinosaurs' in centre, at top, '190 Million Years Ago', at bottom, '.999 Pure Silver'; Australia - A Nation of Great Sports, undated, in pure silver (38mm), obverse, map of Australia with medal name around, outer border with frosted surface with 16 various sports depicted around, reverse, Australian flag behind Opera House, 'Australia' below; another identical but in bronze; Commemorative Medal VII British Empire and Commonwealth Games Perth, 1962, in bronze (57mm) by K.G.Luke (cf.1962/4). First three medals in cases of issue, the second with certificate number 028 of 250, uncirculated. (4)

The last medal is the commemorative medal whereas the medal illustrated in Carlisle (C.1962/4) is the medal for competitors. Both medals have the same obverse except one bears the words 'Commemorative / Medal'. The reverses are different with the commemorative medal featuring sprays of kangaroo paw and wattle above the coat-of-arms of the City of Perth.
