804 George Stanislaw Wilkinson, Enl.31Aug1914, 2 Battalion, Emb.18Oct1914 from Sydney on HMAT Suffolk, WIA 05May1915 at Gallipoli. 06Jul1915 transfer to MG Section, 08Mar1916 promoted Corporal and transfer to AIF HQs Cairo, 01Aug1916 to ANZAC Mtd Div HQs, 17Nov1916 promoted Acting Sergeant, 26Nov1916 detached for Instructional Course (Infantry) at Imperial School of Instruction, Disch.27Feb1917 from AIF, 28Feb1917 appointed 2 Lieutenant on probation in Royal Flying Corps (Special Reserve), served in RFC and RAF from 28Feb1917 to 11Nov1918.
