Julius Caesar, (assassinated 44 B.C.), silver denarius, mint moving with Caesar in Greece, issued 48 B.C., (3.98 grams), obv. female head (Clementia) wearing oak wreath to right, with LII behind, rev. trophy with Gallic shield and carnyx, to right axe, below CAE SAR, (S.1400 [?325 EF], Cr. 452/2, Syd. 1009, RSC 18). Good very fine/extremely fine with some brilliance, very scarce.

The issue with LII (52) on the obverse refers to Caesar's age at the time of the issue.
