Heraclius, (602-610), gold solidus, (4.46 grams), struck at Constantinople mint, Officina I, issued 610-613, obv. draped and cuirassed facing bust holding cross, wearing plumed helmet, rev. Cross potent on three steps, (S.731, DOC 3d). Large round flan, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
