The Boys' Brigade, The Queen's Badge (GV crown) (62mm x 38mm), pin-back; The Queen's Badge (GV crown) miniature; BB hat badge (43mm x 41mm); BB gilt and enamel lapel badge; a variety of BB proficiency badges (21, sixteen different types); various other BB hat and collar badges (10, two with missing pins); sterling silver BB fob, hallmarked on reverse. Very fine - extremely fine. (36)
The Queen's Badge originally instituted as The King's Badge, both identical design except for the word King's or Queen's, in 1913 by permission of HM King George V and first awarded in March 1914. Awarded for proficiency and attainment of a specified number of proficiency badges.
