Syria, Kingdom of, Antiochus VII, (138-129 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (12.838 grams), Tyre mint, issued 133-2 B.C., obv. diademed head of Antiochus VII to right, rev. eagle standing to left with closed wings on prow of galley, palm branch behind, Tyre monogram above club to left, year to right *PR*, other letters in field, around **BASILEWS [ANTIO]COU*, (cf.S.7094, SC.2109.8a, cf.Newell "Tyre" [ANS-MN 73] 135, SNG Spaer 2075). Attractive tone, golden highlights, off centred , otherwise nearly extremely fine, scarce.
