Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), modern copy of gold stater, (5.41 grams); Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-204 B.C.), AE 24, (8.17 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. head of Alexander the Great wearing elephant skin to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, holding cornucopiae, E between legs, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, (S.-, Sv.976, SNG Cop.232); Sasanian King, Khusru I, (A.D. 531-579), silver drachm, (4.00 grams), obv. bust to right with crown, name in outer margin, rev. fire altar with attendants, (Sellwood 54, Gobl 196, M.1028-9); other ancient bronze coins from Rome of Constantine the Great (S.3883); Maximinus II (S.3753); Constantius II (S.4003) and a Byzantine anonymous folles (attributed to Romanus III) (S.1823); together with Crusader State Baronial issue silver denier.
