Description
George V, Melbourne Mint pattern kookaburra square penny, 1921, in cupro-nickel (3.9 gms), by Sir Bertram Mackennal (R.12). Obverse gold grey brown toned with subdued mint bloom, reverse with full original mint bloom, minor carbon spots from string, this specimen with obverse against card since 1947, uncirculated and rare.
