Ornamental shells, Nautilus shell (135mm x 110mm) handpainted with decorative floral motif; large Mother of Pearl shell (180mm x 175mm) ornately carved with the design of a wild boar attacking a tiger against a backdrop of jungle vegetation; polished oyster shell outer casing (110mm x 110mm) set into a timber display stand inscribed on the back, 'Max Aubry / Faaa Tahiti / ITE HOA RA / Morran Jane / 4/5/43'; tiger cowrie shell (80mm x 55mm); teapot mat decorated around the edge with seventeen small shells; also a fakeshaw (replica scrimshaw) sperm whale tooth, made from a polymer compound resembling bone (155mm) design features, patriotic device of U.S.A. flags, harpoon, six cannonballs, labeled 'The Comet, dated 1831, a sporting sperm whale, harpoons, mystic eye at point, signed 'D.Hart', port-side view of full-rigged ship, initials 'JAS'.
