Nero, (A.D. 54-68), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 64-68, obv. laureate head of Nero to right, around NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. above [VESTA], domed hexastyle temple within Vesta draped seated facing head to left, holding patera and sceptre, (S.676, RIC 62, BMC 104). Heavily polished, surface porosity, otherwise very good and scarce.
