Group of six: The Most Excellent Order of British Empire (P.B.E) (Military); Queen's South Africa Medal 1899 - three bars - The Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal; King's South Africa Medal 1902 - two bars - South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902; 1914 Star with clasp '5th Aug-22nd Nov. 1914' (Mons); British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19 with Mention-in-Despatches emblem. Attributed to Lieutenant Colonel C E Terry. Original group of miniatures with OBE, QSA, KSA and their bars and BWM all in silver. Nearly very fine.

Lt-Col Cyril Edward Terry, British Army, was appointed OBE (Military) on 3 June 1919. He served on Staff during the Boer War and in France and Belgium from 9 August 1914 to 11 November 1918. From 29 March 1917 he was in command of No 2 Advanced Supply Depot. Mentioned-in-Despatches L.G. 24 December 1917 and 10 July 1919. $$ Ex Tom Hanley Collection.
