Thrace, Thracian Cherronesos, (possibly city of Cardia in later times), (c.400-350 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.17 grams), obv. forepart of lion to right looking back, paws raised, rev. quadripartite incuse square, with alternate depressions one with A**G* monogram and pellet, other with a fly, (cf.S.1602, McClean 4093, BMC -). Very fine.
