Lucius Verus, (A.D. 161-169), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 164, (24.09 grams), obv. laureate head of Lucius Verus to right, around [L AV]REL VERVS AVG ARM[ENIACVS], rev. around TR POT V IMP II COS II, S C across field, Mars walking to right, carrying spear and trophy, (cf.S.5376, RIC 1420, C.182). Short of flan. green patina, otherwise good fine and scarce.
