Macedon, Kingdom of Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.154 grams), Amphipolis IIIB mint, issued c.323/2-316/5 B.C., obv. head of Zeus laureate to right, dotted border, rev. naked youth or small man (Philip II), on horseback to right, crescent in field below, **P* to right, above **FILIP POU*. (cf.S.6680, cf.Le Rider Pl.46, 4, [same type], SNG ANS 679). Lightly toned, very fine and scarce.
