Burgred, King of Mercia (852-874), silver penny, (1.04 grams), obv. bust to right, around BVRGRED REX, rev. MON/DIGA/ETA in three lines between unbroken lunettes, (Moneyer Diga), (S.938, N.423). Lightly toned, broken about the edge, very fine and rare.
