Jahandar, (A.H. 1124, A.D. 1712), round Gold mohur, (10.98 grams), struck at Shahjahanabad Dar-ul-Khilafat (Delhi) mint, issued A.H. 1124, Regnal year 1 off flan, (1712), obv. Jahandar name at top, date to centre left, rev. mint name at top and bottom, (cf.BMC 880, cf.Nagpur 239-240, cf.Panjab museum Lahore 2099, cf,Lucknow 3542-3, KM.368.6). Extremely fine with some mint bloom, rare.

A completely different pair of dies with the much of the legend arranged on different lines as like some rupees. The variety appears to be not in any of the major published collections.
