Bengal Presidency, Murshidabad Mint, 1793 Second Milled issue, Perpetual 19 san sicca series, Copies of Standard Gold Currency, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D.1759-1806), mohur struck in silver (2), half mohur struck in silver (2), quarter mohur struck in silver, all Regnal Year 19 (fixed), with Privy mark for Murshidabad and with oblique milling to right rupee and quarter rupee, to left half rupees (2), vertical graining on a rupee, (Pr. 403, 404 (This Coin Illustrated), 405 (including one being This Coin Illustrated), 406 (This Coin Illustrated), cf.KM. 100, 101, 103, 112). Extremely fine or better and all very rare. (5)

Ex. F. Pridmore Collection (lot 700 part) with his tickets, and Spink Australia Sale 17 (lot 1840 part). $$ Although claimed by Pridmore to be issued in debased silver these examples, (three being the illustrated example in Pridmore's book), all appear to be of good silver.
