F.J. Easterbrook S. Wales. Bord. on the first medal, Capt. F.J. Easterbrook on the third and fourth medals. The second, third and fourth medals impressed, the others un-named. Son. Group of Six. Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE [military]); 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; Italy Star; France and Germany Star; British War Medal 1939-45. All medals un-named. Very fine.

Major Frederick James Easterbrook MC. MID. LG, 24June1919, P.6296: "T/Capt. Frederick James Easterbrook, 6Bn. S. Wales Borderers, (Attached to 17th.Corp Light Railway Company) For consistant gallantry and devotion to duty when maintaining the Light Railway under incessant shell fire". M.I.D. 24June1916. Lt.Col. C.B. Easterbrook R.E. served with REME and was awarded the MBE for gallant and distinguished services in Northwest Europe in 1945. Together with some research, photos and newspaper article.
