Union Bank of Australia, second issue, specimen note for one pound, at Dunedin, dated 18-- without serial numbers, black ink, imprint of Perkins Bacon & Co London Patent Hardened Steel Plate, stamped "SPECIMEN" for Manager (Robb.M.32; L.521; P.S346). Some tone stains across the note, otherwise very fine and extremely rare.
